DEAL ALERT: Publix Kosher Salt

Am I the only one who missed the Diamond Crystal Kosher salt for $.79 and the $.55/1 coupon found in the Winter Savings booklet = $.24 for Kosher salt???  

When I was shopping at Publix last Sunday, the Publix Pantry Cook was using some and asked me if I knew about it.  She took me over to the shelf and there were zero on the shelf.  So I'm guessing I'm the only one who was in the dark on this deal.  When I came back today to pick up on the new weekly sales, they had restocked and I picked up two canisters.  What a great deal!

My momma and I were just talking about these the other night because she can't find any of hers. I have three 13x9 casserole dishes and only one 8x8. With the size of our family, I usually make casseroles in the 8x8 since my hubby doesn't like leftovers. I've learned to layer tin foil in the bottom of the pan and put my casseroles in there and then freeze them. Once they're frozen, I lift the foil from the pan and put the frozen casserole into a gallon freezer storage baggie. They fit perfectly in there.
