Publix Shopping Trip 3/30/09

I have to admit, I almost stayed in this morning to do some laundry but I am so glad I didn't. I ended up have a great day shopping at Publix and CVS. The kids were great and I'm so thankful they are good little shoppers. Haylei automatically attributes Publix to a cookie from the deli. So if you have little children, make sure you stop by the cookie and cake department at your local Publix to get your free cookie club card. Every time you stop by the cookie case, they will give you a free cookie and punch a hole in your cookie club card. When all the spaces have been punched, have them sign it and drop it into the box for a chance to win a FREE big cookie.

Well, anyway, today I didn't do as good as last week but I still saved more than I spent. I got $153.64 worth of groceries for $70.77 that's a 54% savings. I spent a little more than I anticipated so next week I am striving for an out of pocket expense of less than $40.00. We'll see then, but this is what I got this week:

I'm going to donate the Lysol cleaner and Glass Plus to the Kingdom Hall. We always need extra cleaning supplies especially since we have 4 congregations meeting together.
