Walmart Deal Alert: Campbell's Soup *** UPDATED ***

Walmart prices are regional so your mileage may vary, meaning this might not be a deal in our area. I'll check it out and let you know what I find.

Apparently Walmart has rolled back prices on Campbell Cooking Soup to $.58 a can. You can use a $1/2 coupon HERE to get them for $.08 each.

Remember if your Walmart gives you a hassle about printable coupons, print their coupon policy and take it with you. Be kind. If they don't get it, just leave. It's not worth getting all riled up.

Walmart Internet Printable Coupon UPDATE

I wanted to let you know I received a phone call from our local Walmart in Union City regarding the issue of non-acceptance of Internet Printable Coupons (IPQs). She said their cashiers know how to spot fraudulent or illegal coupons now and we should not have a problem with our coupons so long as they are legitimate. I hope there is no one I know changing coupons to cheat stores. Just remember you are accountable for your actions. So let's all be honest about our use of coupons. (Hebrews 13:18). Walmart has their coupon policy online, read it HERE. You might want to print it and keep it with you if you shop Walmart regularly.

Counterfeit Coupons?

Have you ever wondered if you are holding onto a counterfeit coupon? Well, you know I have been have some issues with my local Walmart not accepting internet printable coupons. I spoke with the store manager today who told me his manager advised them about 4 months ago that his stores will not be accepting IPQs. When I told him I had already spoken to their corporate and she had assured me Walmart stores do accept IPQs, he changed his tune and told me he would make a few calls this afternoon and I could call him back tomorrow for an answer. Now, being that I used to be in customer service, don't you think it would have been a little more appropriate for him to call me back??? Okay, sorry, I forgot, we are talking about Walmart and not Publix. Publix, to whom I sent a complimentary email and the store manager called me to thank me and asked me to stop by the customer service desk next time I was in to introduce myself and say "Hi". Which I did and they are the NICEST people!!!

Cheddar Cheese at Wal-Mart

Have y'all seen this big humongous block of cheese at Wal-Mart? About a month ago I was shopping at Wal-Mart (I heard you gasp!) and found a 2 lb block of Mild Cheddar, Monterrey Jack and Mozzarella Cheese for $7.14. Usually a 1 lb block of cheese goes for $4; and even at Publix when they have a special 3/$5, it's for the 8 oz block. So this was a good deal, $3.57 per lb. Well, today I was picking a few things and they had it for $5.98 for the 2 lb block! That's less than $3 a lb! So I picked up another Mild Cheddar. We are still working on the other ones, but you can freeze cheese, so that's where its heading. Next time you're at Wal-Mart, check to see if they are carrying it yet.

Wal-Mart Coupon Policy

Have you been to Wal-Mart and they give you a hard time about coupons? I have, and frankly, it's very frustrating. In fact, while we were in Savannah a few weekends ago, we went to Wal-Mart to pick up a few dinner items. Everyone had agreed on Tex-Mex so I dug through my coupons to see what kind of deals I could swing. Well, I had the Free Tostitos when you purchase 2 jars of Tostito brand salsa and 2 Ortega coupons for $.75/2 Ortega products. When we got up to the checkout, the coupons wouldn't ring up. The cashier even called over the manager and she couldn't either. I told her they were valid, they have the manufacturer's address for remit to, the expiration date, and I even bought the correct items and quantity. But she refused to override the computer stating Wal-Mart wouldn't get reimbursed if they she overrode the system. It must be a glitch and kindly gave me my coupons back. Totally frustrated, I explained, I knew the policy Wal-Mart has online and they really need to review it.

And of course, while at Wal-Mart yesterday, I picked up the Land O'Lakes Butter for $2.00 and I had 2 IPQs for $.55 and Beech-Nut Baby snacks $.75 off. And the cashier told me their store doesn't accept IPQs (internet printable coupons). I asked for my coupons back and went to the customer service desk and explained their policy to them and the customer service manager told me their store manager doesn't accept IPQs. I asked her if this was a franchised Wal-Mart and she said no. So I again explained their policy and she then gave me my money back. I have to admit I was very nice and didn't go crazy psycho mommy on them :) But it is totally frustrating especially when you have an almost 3 year old and 10 month old ready for lunch. This is why I don't shop there as much as I used to. GO PUBLIX!!! For always being nice and willing to work with me and you and everyone else that shops there!

We're heading out of town for a much needed vacation, and I needed to pick up some last minute things. So I headed to Wal-Mart. While I was there I checked on the price of eggs.
