Outside my window...it's a cloudy, windy and cold fall day.
I am thinking...I need to be folding the 5 loads of laundry I washed yesterday
I am thankful for...my loving husband
From the learning rooms...learning the letter L - Lot, ladybug, lions, lamb, little
From the kitchen...planning to try a new recipe creation for the Publix Apple contest...hmmm - wonder if I can post it on my blog or if that's against the rules...
I am wearing...black knit pilate pants, coral t-shirt
I am going...finish doing daily housework, get the chicken pulled off the bones for supper tonight...
I am reading...book of Deuteronomy
I am hoping...to have more patience
I am hearing...the hum of the computer, and my daughter singing a "straw" song she just made up
Around the house...need to sweep all the acorns that are falling from the big oak tree off the back porch, they hurt when you walk on them bare foot...
One of my favorite things...cloudy days=movie days :)

Outside my window...the sun is shining and the birds are chirping...it's a beautiful fall day!
I am thinking...what am I going to plan for a menu this week???
I am thankful for...great family and friends
From the learning rooms...learning the letter K - king, kitten, kangaroo, koala
From the kitchen...macaroni and cheese in the pot for the kids boiling away and chicken breasts in the crockpot for Chicken and Rice soup this evening...but for the rest of the week I'm at a loss...
I am wearing...gray knit pajama bottoms and turquoise t-shirt
I am going...to run up to Walmart later on to see if they have some FREEbies I'm looking for...
I am reading...book of Deuteronomy
I am hoping...I get motivated to walk on my treadmill for 1 mile everyday this week
I am hearing...my son sing like an ambulance and my daughter watching her new favorite movie "Barbie and the 3 Musketeers"
Around the house...I need to plant the yellow pansies and mums I picked up last week at Lowe's
One of my favorite things...purple :)
A few plans for the rest of the week: finish tackling a room a day to make room for winter time indoor activities...

Outside my window...the weather is gloomy and rainy
I am thinking...I need to call the library to recheck out the books due today
I am thankful for...staying in the house today to get some laundry done :)
From the learning rooms...learning the letter J - jellybeans, jam, jump, jungle
From the kitchen...whole roasted chicken in the crockpot
I am wearing...brown knit pants, bright coral knit shirt (comfy clothes for a comfy day)
I am going...to put all the clean folded clothes away instead of leaving them in the laundry baskets!
I am reading...book of Deuteronomy
I am hoping...the rain slacks off a little so we can pick up a couple of new books to go along with our letter of the week
I am hearing...the dishwasher going, my daughter scooting across the floor with her lamb house shoes and the hum of the computer
Around the house...I need to pull up the spent corn stalks, zuchinni/squash plants and plow everything under so we can prepare the beds for the winter

A few plans for the rest of the week: try a new recipe for Baked Oatmeal, drink more water, try to walk for at least 1 mile each day on the treadmill, looking forward to the Brick-nic Saturday.
