Kroger Deals 5/31-6/6 (Atlanta, Georgia)

It looks like Kroger has the better deal for produce this week. I try to only buy fresh produce when it's less than $1 per pound. This should be easy with summer coming because everything will be in season. Always buy what's in season, and you'll reduce your fresh produce costs in half or more! And if you can buy from a local Farmer's Market, you'll save even more...

So this is what looks good to me at Kroger this week:
  • Peaches $.99/lb
  • Corn $.25 each
  • Strawberries $1.79 pkg
  • Limes 5/$1
  • Milk $1.99
  • Eggs $.88 each
  • Kroger Deluxe Light Ice Cream $1.88 (My favorite is Death by Chocolate...totally a chocoholic's dream)
  • Fresh Ground Beef $1.98/lb
  • Cod Fillets $3.99/lb
  • Lean Cuisines 5/$11 (use $1/3 coupon June All You magazine, makes them $1.87 each)
  • Texas Toast $2.49 each (use $.50/1 coupon June All You magazine, doubled makes them $1.49 each)
  • Knorr/Lipton Rice or Pasta $1.00 each (use $.50/2 coupon 5/17 RP, doubled make them $.50 each)
  • Maxwell House Coffee 33-34.5 oz $5.49 each (use $2/2 coupon HERE, makes them $4.49 each)
  • Sargento Cheese $1.79 ($1/2 coupon 4/19 SS, makes them $1.29 each)
  • Smithfield Pork Tenderloin B1G1F...don't know the price of one but will let you know
  • Kroger Italian Sausage 16 oz pkg $2.50 (this is yummy in lasagna or spaghetti)

Enjoy!
