Publix Shopping Trip 7/6/09

Here's my Publix shopping trip today. The price beside the item is the actual cost I paid after the coupon savings or otherwise:

My total groceries were $62.75. I saved $32.74 with coupons and advantage buys leaving me an out of pocket expense of $30.01.

Meal Plan Monday 7/6/09

Good morning everyone!

As many of you know, we spent the weekend being spiritually refreshed at the District Convention in Duluth. If you have not been yet, please make sure you have arrangements to attend one in your local area. And wear you waterproof mascara! You will totally enjoy it. Jesus said "Keep on the Watch"...and we really need to now more than ever.

Our weekend was very busy as you know. So this week I'll be utilizing my stockpile. Not much variation each night, I plan on using Starkist Seasations each night and trying 2 new recipes. My poor family are going to be guinea pigs :)

Monday: Starkist Seasations, rice & veggies

Tuesday: Using Starkist Seasations, fish tacos with rice and beans

Wednesday: Using Starkist Seasation, trying a new recipe Mediterranean Fish Stew.

Thursday: Using Starkist Seasations, trying a new recipe New England Fish Chowder

Friday: Pizza night!

I know we aren't supposed to explain the picture BUT, let me this one time:
So we've been working with our daughter on trying to give a comment at the meeting. She's been putting up her hand to comment for a couple of months now, but always loses her nerve. So finally she gave her first comment ("day shood pway"...for those of you who don't speak 3 year old, that's "they should pray" and we promised her ice cream afterward.
