I've explained before that this is our second attempt at growing a vegetable garden. Before now, I've stuck to planting flowers and bushes. With the way the economy is going and the benefits of eating organically grown vegetables, we think it's worthwhile to grow our own vegetables. Especially, vegetables that we usually buy fresh, frozen or canned. Later this year, I'm going to be "testing the waters" of canning and preserving. My cousin and aunt are fabulous in this area and I'll be sharing their wisdom and advice. Perhaps I can talk them into an interview or even sharing a vlog of how they process jars.
For now though, I'm really interested in learning all I can about vegetable gardening. I learn best from other people. Their mistakes and successes. I thought the best way for me to learn from all my "blogging-buddies" is to start a blog carnival or meme. My hope is for all of you who garden, to share what you know each week. If you don't have a blog, please feel free to comment away. Each Thursday I'll write about a topic, place the linky on the blog post and hope each of you will link and share your knowledge.
Here is the blog button and you can find the html code in the right side bar.
I'm really counting on all of my gardening buddies to help me learn as I go. If you are new to gardening like me and have some questions, please leave them in the comments. We'll ask the question each week and hopefully get some answers.

I am going to grab it and play:-)
I'll be following this closely since I'm a new gardener, too. I started my seeds this weekend, so hopefully by mid-April, I'll be ready to plant.
This is our 2nd year gardening too. I as goofy as this sounds hit the library and read alot of books. On my 1st garden I just did it the way my experienced garden friends told me...which totally works for them but somehow I managed to mess it up...this time I decided to do it my research geek way...lol. Nothing comes out right for me unless I research and study like I am cramming for an exam. I look forward to reading your posts! I also plan on trying canning.
How funny, I was thinking about starting a garden meme and I still may. Great minds think alike.
I will be sure to link up to yours, either way I like to keep week by week gardening updates.
@Jenna - You should totally do it. I'll link to yours and yours might be more successful than mine anyway. It will be fun to see the progress of the gardens in different zones and climates :)
That is totally adorable!!
