This week I'm participating in Top Ten Tuesday over at Oh Amanda!
Last month I purchased a turkey at Kroger for $.59/lb. It's been thawing and I plan on baking it up and then using leftovers for our Once-A-Month-Cooking plan:
- Easy Turkey and Rice Casserole
- Turkey Shepherd's Pie
- Turkey Pot Pie
- Turkey Patties
- Turkey Stuffed Shells
- Turkey Tetrazzini
- BBQ Turkey - serve on buns or over mashed potatoes
- Creamy Turkey Enchiladas or Sour Cream Enchiladas
- Southwestern Turkey and Rice
- Turkey Fried Rice
I'm not sure if I'll have enough turkey to make all of these dishes, but I figured it's better to plan ahead rather than be wondering what to do with 15 lbs of turkey. Stay tuned for later this week when I figure out the rest of our Freezer Cooking Day Plan.
Enjoy!
Enjoy!
