Lesson Plan - Letter "J"

Photobucket
We're going to be changing up our homeschool schedule a bit.  We are going to be focusing on learning to read using the book Teach Your Child to Read in 100 Easy Lessons
Teach Your Child to Read in 100 Easy Lessons
We are still going to be working on a letter each week, because I really like how that format is working for us.  We'll be working on Sissy's confidence to speak into a microphone.  She gets extremely nervous and doesn't like to comment during the meetings.  So I purchased a little microphone at the Dollar Tree and plan on covering a few paragraphs of study material each day.
Here's our "lesson plan" for letter "J"

I taught Lexi to read with that book and it was amazing! I could never has used it with my older daughter thought, it really depends on the child. I'm going to try it with our youngest next year and see how it goes (I started Lexi at 3 1/2). I'm excited but I think she is more like her oldest sister :)
