Meal Plan Monday 3/14/11

This week we're going to begin work on remodeling our Kingdom Hall.  We're all very excited since there hasn't been any real work done on the Hall since it was built in 1998.

We'll be providing meals for the volunteer workers throughout the week.  Our congregation has been assigned to work with the Spanish congregation and the North and South are working together to provide meals next week.

Here's what we'll be eating at home:

Monday:  Crock Pot Rotisserie Chicken and Potatoes, Green Beans (making chicken stock from leftover bones, skin and juices)

Tuesday:  Chicken Pasole* (using leftover chicken and the stock from yesterday)

Wednesday:  Rabbit in the Hole, oranges, turkey bacon

Thursday:  Spanish is coordinating breakfast;  Kingdom Hall meal LUNCH:  Spaghetti with meat sauce, Tossed Salad, Green Beans, Bread rolls and Pound cake for dessert

Friday:  Kingdom Hall meals BREAKFAST:  Scrambled Eggs, Bacon, Biscuits, Grits, Fruit (oranges);  LUNCH: Lemon Pepper Chicken Quarters, Vegetable Pasta Salad, Lima Beans, Bread Rolls, Simple Peach Cobbler for dessert

Saturday:  Spanish is coordinating breakfast;  Kingdom Hall meal:  LUNCH:  BBQ Pork Chops, Baked Beans, Cole Slaw, Bread Rolls, Apple Pies for dessert

Sunday:  Kingdom Hall meal:  BREAKFAST:  Breakfast Casserole, Fried Taters, Fruit (oranges); Spanish is coordinating LUNCH

Enjoy!

Hi Candi!
I wanted to thank you for visiting my blog - Concetta's Cafe. How gracious of you to plan and prepare such sumptuous meals for your church - everything looks yummy!
Also - my cupcake holder came from Home Goods - one of my favorite stores!
Have a great day.

What a great idea for making a whole chicken in the crock pot! I tried making one before, but nobody really cared for it because it was basicly boiled, not very tasty. I will definitely be giving your recipe a try.

Have fun with the redecorating of the Kingdom Hall!
