Meal Plan Monday 10/31/11

Last week I suffered from a little cold.  I lost my voice Friday and Saturday (I'm sure the kids were thrilled with that!).  Now Boo-Boo is exhibiting signs of getting it too.  I ran out this morning to Walmart to get my arsenal of medicines...Clairitin, Tylenol and Ibuprofen.  I hope I can keep him from getting too sick.  He's my little sickie.  When he gets sick, he'll run a really high fever and lay around like death is waiting at the front door.  It's very scary!  But he usually bounces right back the very next day like nothing was wrong.  So this week I'm still planning from our freezer.  Last week I deviated from the plan and made chicken and rice soup and ate it Tuesday and Wednesday.

Also I need to get back on track with my calorie counting.  I haven't been able to do any exercising for over a week and I can tell.  My belly feels huge, even though I know it's not.  It's ironic how you get used to exercising (especially when I used to HATE it) and then when you get out of your routine you feel lousy.  Plus I think I'm hormonal too.  Combine all that and I end up one big hot mess!  LOL! :)

Monday:  Pasta Fagioli* or this one with Italian Salad and Easy French Bread (Wooley started Science and I think it's high time he learned how to make Bread.)  We'll make enough to make French Bread Pizza's on Friday night.

Tuesday: Turkey Meatloaf, Mashed Potatoes, Sweet Peas or Green Beans

Wednesday:  Breakfast for supper - Turkey Bacon and Tomato Frittata

Thursday: Crock Pot - Country Style Pork Ribs (shredded and turned into BBQ Pork Sandwiches) pickles, Homemade Baked Beans*, cole slaw

Friday: French Bread Pizza, Balsamic Dressed Salad

Saturday:  Out to dinner?

Sunday:  TBA

I just realized today is the last day of the month.  My parents will be celebrating their 39th wedding anniversary tomorrow.  Happy Anniversary Momma and Dad!  Which also means I need to do our November meal plan.  Yummy Turkey Dinner for my parents is always on the plan.  I've been making it for them for the last couple of years.  It's Momma's favorite meal (besides Mexican).

Stay tuned for the monthly meal plan!

Enjoy!

I know what you mean about being hormonal and feeling uber gross. Because of our break-in I've been eating all the junk I can find and I feel so disgusting. I hope you are all the way feeling better and that your little Boo-Boo and the rest of the family don't get it!

Isn't it funny how when you stop calorie counting and eat just a bit more food, that you can totally FEEL it? I so know what you mean.

Love the mini meatloaves, great idea, thanks!
