Snow Days!!!

Yes, here in Georgia, anytime there might be snow in the forecast, everyone heads to the grocery store and wipes out all the toilet paper, bread and milk. You'd think we all lived in prison on a diet of milk and bread!

Currently the weather is crazy! We had rain and thunderstorms early this morning and then it turned over to sleet around 10 a.m. After that we had "thunder snow" when it snows and there is thunder and lightning. No joke, this is completely true! It's been snowing for about 4 hours and we have about 3 inches of snow. It's so pretty and serene. It always amazes me how quiet it is when it snows. I guess because when you see something falling from the sky you naturally think rain, and rain has sound when it falls. But snow, it's so quiet and the only sound you hear is it softly kissing the trees and bushes. Truly beautiful!

We made a snow man, the biggest I've ever made! We had a ton of fun! There's nothing like snow days in Georgia. Here today and gone tomorrow...
