Unflavored Gelatin Recipes

Have you picked up on the Knox Gelatin Money-Maker at Publix yet? Use the $4/1 coupon HERE and buy the box of Knox unflavored gelatin for $1.39. You will end up with $2.61 overage. You can apply this overage to the balance of your grocery purchase.

So - if you have picked up on this deal, then you probably are wondering how in the world you can use unflavored gelatin???

Have no fear - Candi is here!

Just kidding, but I did find a couple of yummy sounding recipes to try:

Marshmallows - Yes! Homemade marshmallows are supposed to be so much better than store bought ones. Try Alton Brown's, Giada's Orange flavored ones or Ina Garten's Coconut flavored ones. (I'm going to try one of these next week for my daughter's homeschool project. We'll be learning the letter "M" and I think this will be a tasty project she'll love!) We actually did make these.  You can read about it on this post.  They were so yummy and delicious!

Panna Cotta - It's an Italian custard.

Philadelphia Vanilla Ice Cream
- yummy - we made this and it was SO GOOD! And you don't need an ice cream machine!!!

Chocolate Mousse with Grand Marnier
- natural complement

Don't want to eat it? Try using it to make Finger Paint - this should be some messy fun!

I'd love to hear how you've decided to use your unflavored gelatin...

Enjoy!
