Meal Plan Monday 11/23/09
Weekly Breakfasts: cereal, yogurt, bananas, poptarts
Weekly Lunches: macaroni cheese with peas, soup, grilled cheese sandwiches, oranges, apples
Monday: Crock Pot Teriyaki Orange Apricot Chicken (I tweaked the recipe found HERE by adding 2 tablespoons teriyaki sauce and used pumpkin pie spice since it had most of the spices from the recipe) served over rice with steamed broccoli for us and green beans for him :)
Tuesday: Easy Chicken and Dumplings
Wednesday: Breakfast for Supper: Cheese omlettes, grits, oranges
Thursday: Easy Shepherd's Pie - I'll probably use green beans and carrots since my picky eater doesn't eat peas.
Friday: Pizza night - pineapple and BBQ chicken style, using this recipe for the crust tweaking it by adding 1/2 teaspoon Italian Seasoning, and using 3/4 cup Whole Wheat Flour and 1 cup All Purpose Flour to increase the fiber and healthy factor for our family
Saturday: Buffalo Chicken Sandwiches and Oven Cheese Fries
Sunday: Easy BBQ Meatballs over mashed potatoes and peas for us and green beans for him :)

I've not been following your blog for long, so maybe I've missed something, but no Thanksgiving dinner?? Just curious.. :)
Hi Janelle - Thanks for following! We believe we should give thanks to God (and family and friends) every day not just once a year on a designated day. I'm sure everyone feels that way too but unknowingly get caught up in the commercialization of the holidays in general. Turkey dinner is one of our family favorites for sure and we usually eat it a couple of times a year not just on Thanksgiving day. Thanks for asking :)
Thanks for explaining! I think that's a very neat way to look at things. :)
