Last week's burger recipe was Rachael Ray's Open Wide! Tur-Chicken Club Burger. I changed it up to suit our pantry and what we like. Here's how I changed it up:
Turkey Club Burgers
1 lb ground turkey
1 teaspoon paprika
2 teaspoons poultry seasoning
1 Tablespoon McCormick's Montreal Chicken Seasoning
1 Tablespoon dried parsley
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/4 cup sour cream
1/2 teaspoon dried dill weed
1 teaspoon lemon juice
pinch of salt
pinch of pepper
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
8 slices bacon, pre-cooked
lettuce
tomato, sliced
avocado, sliced
hamburger buns
Mix ground turkey, paprika, poultry seasoning, Montreal Chicken seasoning, dried parsley and onion powder. Form into 4 patties and grill. In the meantime, mix together sour cream, dill weed, lemon juice, salt, pepper and garlic powder in small bowl. Spread a little sour cream mixture on top and bottom buns and add turkey burger, bacon, lettuce, tomato and avocado.
This was a really yummy burger! Definitely would eat it again.
