Fun Cookbook

Eat Tweet: 1,020 Recipe Gems from the Twitter Community's @cookbook
Tonight my husband was looking over my shoulder as I was checking email, reading blogs and catching up on my twitter account.  He had a revelation of a great idea.  He does this quite often and I've told him he should patent these great ideas.  Well, he told me I should set up a new blog and twitter account for "twitter-sized" recipes.  Recipes that would only be 140 characters, condensed to fit on a tweet.  So I did a search and guess what?  It's been done by Maureen Evans.  And it's a fabulous idea!  She has a new book being released soon called Eat Tweet 1020 Recipe Gems.  You can follow her on twitter @cookbook.  It looks like she's still adding new recipes.  Also she has a website with a glossary listing the abbreviations in the tweets.

Have you ever come up with a great idea only to find out it's been done?

Enjoy!
