I love Melissa D'Arabian on the Food Network. She has a great point of view: 4 people for $10. She's a couponer and gives great tips for buying food for your pantry and freezer. So last week on her show Ten Dollar Dinners, she made a wonderful looking shortbread cookie. I thought I'd try my hand at it. I changed up the way she recommended rolling out the dough. I put the dough in the refrigerator to cool and then sliced pieces off for the baking sheet. It worked great.
