Here's our "lesson plan" for letter "M"

Monday (new letter introduction): 

• Practice writing the letter "M"
• Workbook letter M exercises
• Scripture Memory: Psalm 86:15 "But you, O Jehovah, are a God merciful and gracious,
  Slow to anger and abundant in loving-kindness and trueness"
• Biblical Story/Character:  Learn about Moses, read story 28, 29 in Bible Story Book, baby Moses coloring page
• Cover next lesson in Teach Your Child to Read
• Silly Song or Nursery Rhyme "Three Blind Mice"  "She'll Be Coming Around the Mountain"
• Begin the WT lesson for the weekend.  Sing song 96 and study pp 1-4

Tuesday (spelling, writing and math concepts)

• review scripture Ps 86:15  
• Biblical Story/Character: Study for the meeting tonight...
• Next lesson in Teach Your Child to Read
• sing silly song
• Math concept:  working on Math Workbook, matching games - using household objects, spoons, canned foods, socks; learn months of the year.
• sing songs for the meeting tonight, study Come Be My Follower book 

Wednesday (social studies concepts)

• review scripture Ps 86:15
• Biblical Story/Character:  Continue learning about Moses, read story 30, 31, burning bush coloring page
• Next lesson in Teach Your Child to Read
• sing silly song
• Social Studies concept:  Learn about the history of money, Field Trip to the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta (virtual tour Story of Money)
• Continue studying the WT, pp 5-9

Thursday  (This is my working day at the bakery)

• Art project with Nana -Make a Mouse Craft
• Watch The Prince of Egypt about Moses
• Next lesson in Teach Your Child to Read
• Continue studying the WT (family worship night), sing songs 96, 98, study pp 10-15

Friday (science concepts)

• Review scripture Ps 86:15
• Biblical Story/Character:  Continue learning about Moses, read story 32, 33, Moses parting the Red Sea coloring page
• Next lesson in Teach Your Child to Read
• sing silly song
• Science concept:  Learn about Monkeys, online activites and stories
• Finish studying WT, pp 16-18 and sing ending song 98
• If the weather is good, visit Zoo Atlanta
