Here's another cake I did last week. It was for a coworker. He proposed to his girlfriend. He tells her they are like "two peas in a pod". Except I wanted to include her little girl and their new baby to arrive in the fall.
Busy weekend with the dance recital. The performance was outstanding and the girls did great as the Dalmatians.
Later that evening we ate Mexican at home. It was so GOOD!!! But I happen to be a little partial to Mexican anything. It's all good!
Sunday I had to work in the morning and in the evening. Our sister congregation has the Circuit Overseer this week and will be meeting at the Hall on Tuesday night so our meeting was pushed to Monday night. That will be an easy adjustment, except I feel a little spiritually deprived as the week wears on. I'll be thankful for our Family Worship night on Thursday!
So here's what we're going to be eating this week:
Monday: Classic Bean Nachos with Lucia's Salsa
Tuesday: Cereal with fruit and turkey wrapped string cheese
Wednesday: Drunken Pork Chops with rice and broccoli and green beans
Thursday: Buffalo Chicken Burgers (we didn't eat this last week)
Friday: Margherita Pizza (on tortilla) and Salad (using up some pretty basil from our garden)
Saturday: Dinner Out
Sunday: Chicken Parm Burger with Salad
Breakfasts: Cottage Cheese bowls with fruit and almonds and Peanut butter sandwich; Oatmeal with Peanut butter and frozen blueberries with yogurt and almonds
Lunches: Turkey sandwiches and apples; Quesadillas and soup with fruit
Snacks: Turkey wrapped string cheese and apple; yogurt, banana and almonds
