Walgreens is going to be having a special 4 DAY SALE starting 12/9-12/12. They are going to be offering a $5 RR when you purchase $25 or more. This is before coupons and RRs!!! So if I were you, I'd wait until later in the week to shop so you can pick up on that great deal.
I'm starting with $5 RR from last week's shopping trip. Here's what I plan to do:
1st order
(6) Nivea Lip Care Products $.99 each
(2) Nivea Lotions $7.49 each
(1) Neutrogena Men's Skin Care Shave Gel $4.99 (Get $4.99 RR limit 1)
= 9 items $25.91 (enough to receive my $5 RR)
- (3) BOGO Nivea Lip care coupons 11/1 SS
- (2) FREE Nivea Lotion WYB 3 Lip Care coupons 11/1 SS
- (2) $1/1 Nivea Lotion coupons 11/1 SS (not sure if I can use this one)
- $5 RR from last week
- $2/1 Neutrogena coupon All You magazine December issue
= $.96 OOP and receive $4.99 RR and $5 RR
2nd order
(3) Nestle Semi Sweet Morsels $1.99 NADQ (limit 3)
(2) Chinet Plates BOGO $2.99 NADQ (limit 4)
(1) Conair Hair Brush $2.00 (Get $2 RR)
= 6 items $11.95
- (3) $1/1 Nestle coupon HERE
- (2) $1/1 Chinet plate coupon 11/22 SS
= $1.95 OOP and receive $2 RR for next week
So if they have everything in stock and everything goes as planned (yeah right!) we'll have gotten $37.86 worth of product for $2.91!!!

Hi there! I love your website. Thanks for all the great info. My local store says if you pay with RR the catalina machine won't print them at the end of the trans. I've never tried it - so I thought I'd ask an expert! tracy
Hi tracy - i wish i were an expert LOL! this is what i've learned over time (and i still mess up!)
here's an example:
if you purchase fusion razor and receive RR for them, you can use these RR on a 2nd transaction for another fusion razor but RR will not print again. on rare occasions, this is not true, but the message boards light up with activity of these so you'll know when this happens. you might find it more helpful to read the Walgreens tutorial written by Andrea at mommysnacks.net. you can find the link on the blog post. She gives very detailed instructions for walgreens. hope that helps!
