Menu Plan Monday 10/15/10

I'm reworking our meal plan for the week.  Our Mondays have been pretty hectic.  I try to get to the grocery and drug stores on Monday morning, then home for lunch and rest break for the kids before we head back out to ballet practice at 3:30.  Then home again for supper at 5:00 and then I head to work at 5:30-6:00 in the evening.  It's just getting to me lately.  I need more time in the day!   So I think I'm going to move our easy Bean Night meal to Monday this week and see how that works out.  

I finally finished most of my OAMC plan for November.  I had a fail for the Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Granola Bars, but I'll share more about that later on. 

Here's the game plan for this week:

Weekly Breakfasts:  
Cinnamon Banana French Toast Sticks
Yogurt with Pumpkin Spiced Granola Parfaits 
Cheerios Cereal with Honey and Bananas
Apple Cinnamon Oatmeal with Frozen Blueberries

Weekly Snacks:  
Grapefruit segments with pink or purple sprinkle sugar
Peanut Butter Crackers with Apple Slices 
Cinnamon Graham Crackers with Nutella and Peaches
Cinnamon and Sugar Baked Pretzels with Apple Slices
Popcorn with Parmesan Cheese with Bananas

Weekly Lunches:  
Bean Burritos with Avocado slices 
"Cars" Chicken Noodle Soup with crackers 
"Scooby Doo" Macaroni and Cheese with Frozen Peas 
Grilled Cheese and Ten Minute Tomato Soup*

Monday:  BEAN NIGHT:  Chalupas with Guacamole Salad and Corn

Tuesday:  BREAKFAST FOR SUPPER:  Scrambled Eggs with Cheesy Grits and Tangerines

WednesdayCrock Pot Rotisserie Chicken with Potatoes and Green Beans

Thursday:  LEFTOVER:  Easy Chicken & Dumplings

Friday:  PIZZA:  BBQ Chicken Pizza with Salad 

We are trying a few (*)new recipes this week.  I hope they are keepers!
