We had that stomach bug going around yesterday so we haven't been eating too much. Crackers, ginger ale, toast, applesauce, bananas. So I'm guessing our weekly plan will change a little. So far this is what's happening.
Breakfasts: Yogurt, Granola and Banana; Fruit Smoothie with Yogurt and Granola; Swiss Muesli with Pumpkin Spiced Granola and Cranberries; Egg White Omelet with Mushrooms, Red Peppers and Arugula
Cereal with Bananas
Snacks: Apples, Oranges, Tangerines, Peanut Butter Toast, Nutella Graham Crackers
Lunches: Chicken Noodle Soup with Crackers; Butter Parmesan Noodles with Peas; Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwiches with Banana Slices; Applesauce, Peaches
Suppers:
Monday: Rice in broth (I'm guessing we'll still be recovering)
Tuesday: Apricot Pork Chops (didn't get around to these last month) - maybe
Wednesday: Chicken-in-a-Skillet*(new) - I hope
Thursday: Leftovers
Friday: "Thin Crust" Pizza* and Salad
Saturday: Shrimp Alfredo, Salad and Green Beans (Pantry Meal)*
Sunday: Tacos with Mexican Rice & Beans
We eat from our pantry every month. That's why I create a monthly meal. I plan meals based on what we got on sale the month before. I'm going to be focusing on our grocery budget of $75 a week. Staying within the budget is important.
Random thought - I'll share a little something about the grass-fed beef and free-range chicken tomorrow.
The "Thin Crust" Pizza is really just a flour tortilla. But low calorie and super easy.
Shrimp Alfredo is another Pantry Meal. I'll share the recipe on Saturday after I get the pictures made.
Hope you have a great and tasty week!
Enjoy!

Hey Candi--
I hope you are all feeling better soon!
Answer to your question--
I have tons of turkey to use up too. The recipe for turkey bundles was going to be based on this TOA recipe with whatever I had one hand--

I will made the bread pocket myself.
Have a great week!
Those pork chops look yummy, I'll have to give them a try soon. I to will be striving to use a $75.00 a week food budget this year. There are 5 in my family and I think I can do it. I'm going to be concentrating on pantry meals, as well as adding more beans and smaller meat servings.
Sounds like a delicious way to start the new year:-)
Sorry to hear about your stomach bug, we had it too around christmas, and our whole family got it. But as a bonus I lost about 5lbs, lol!!!
Great menu plan!
