Slimmer This Summer - Week 4 Update

Slimmer this Summer – Week 4 Update

Well this week was horrible.

I didn't feel good and was completely unmotivated to do any jogging on the treadmill.  I know this happens about once a month to me, so I was trying hard to keep the calories down.  Unfortunately, I did add a little weight.  About a pound increase in fact.

This week I'm going to focus on
  • drinking plenty of water each day.
  • jogging on the treadmill each day for 2 miles.
  • working on core exercises on sparkpeople.com.
  • staying under 1400 calories each day.
My goal is 199 by July 22.  I'm currently sitting at 203.0 this morning.  Yesterday it was 203.8.  It's fluctuating so much.  That's why I'm going to increase the calorie burn.  2 miles on the treadmill usually burns 300 calories.  So if I do it for 5 days, that's 1500 calories.

I hope y'all did better than me.  If not, we'll start fresh tomorrow, right?

Enjoy!

Hang in there. You will make it through! You will be in onederland before you know it! Its just one day at a time. Don't think about the whole week. Just one day. :) That's how I get through my tough weeks. You are doing great! Look back and what you have done. You have a great attitude. Tomorrow is always a fresh start!!

Doing great!!!

I wish I could run.. I think my lungs would collapse! I weigh about the same. I recently gave up sugarry things. (About a month ago). And this week I gave up my long time addiction of caffiene (soda). Oh lordy that was a big headache. Those are major milestones in my health. I think that I will move on to walking more on the treadmill once I am over this part. i do eat Special K with Chocolate for breakfast. It is healthy, and I consider it my treat for the day as it has chocolate in it. If you look though, it has lots of fiber, and less sugar than many cereals.

Ok, we all have those weeks. Learn from it but don't dwell on it! Tomorrow is another day!

Where you're at in your cycle can affect your weight loss efforts. After ovulation it's much harder to see the results but then when you menstruate you'll suddenly drop some weight.

You know me, everything is about the cycle. LOL!

Hang in there, last week was just a small bump. You WILL do better this week. Still cheering you on!

PS: Carrie hit it right on the head about the weight gain, it's just water weight.

Here's to hoping for a better week for you. Remember a day can start now not tomorrow. If you are like me, if I do the "I'll start tomorrow" thing it just frees me up to overeat tonight without accountability. Hang in there.

Yeah, bad week here too. I just keep eating because food is "there". No idea why focus just LEFT by the end of the week. *sigh* Oh well, onward and upward!

Every one is entitled to an off week once in a while, just don't quit. I haven't gone past workout 1 on the 30 day shred either. I don't plan to do it 30 days in a row without stopping though, I will alternate between that and Biggest Loser Challenge, plus will add in some walking. No matter what you're doing, if you do the same thing day in and day out, it gets boring! :)

You CAN reach your goal by the target date. Just step your game up and work it out. You.Are.Worth.It.

No biggy! This is your week and you will win! You are not walking away and giving up and that's all that matter. The results will show in the end Nicole @colieskitchen.com

All of the above and it is a new start and more motivation to make the darned scale move in the happy downward direction.
Here is to another week. Cheers to you with my water bottle in hand. Let's do this!

I've done horribly for the last couple of weeks, but the key is to not give up. I am back on track as of today. Every new day is an opportunity to make a change.

We all have ups and downs with that scale, That is one of the reasons I have stopped weighing in. I will only do it once a month now. Just want the focus of getting healthy on all parts, not just the scale. So, here is to a better week!

Tomorrow is always another day. Sometimes I have to even tell myself that the the minute has passed and these are now new minutes and I can restart during any one of them! As long as we keep on keeping on we are winning the battle so kudos for you doing just that:-)
