My cousin and her daughters came over last week and the kids played tea party, decorated cupcakes, watched movies, ate soup and sandwiches, and painted their fingernails (sans Boo-Boo).

They also did some crayon crafts this week and learned "pointillism" art (definitely need parental supervision for this craft, thankfully there were no burned fingers in the making of this art).
My cousin and her kids went with us on a "field trip" to the Asian market. I just wish I knew what the characters meant on the packaging at H-Mart.

Then we headed over to the Dekalb Farmer's Market. The kids love oohing and aahing over the fish counter and meat counter...

We make an obstacle course out of anything and everything in our house. The kids then run, jump and climb their way through. Lots of laughs and burns energy!
They look so cute dressed up in your clothes! We have an Asian Market here and I can't bring myself to go...perhaps one day :) I like the melted crayons art, I'll have to try that too!
Asian markets are so fun! And you can do anything with palm sugar that you can with regular sugar. It's supposed to be healthier because it's less refined. Try it!
