We're still eating from our Monthly Meal Plan for April and trying to stay out of the grocery store as much as possible. I've only picked up a couple of things in the last few weeks, like milk and juice and fresh fruit.
Here's what we're planning this week:
Weekly Breakfasts: OAMM Pumpkin French Toast Sticks (if you haven't tried these...you are missing out on an easy and fast way to get goodness into your kiddos!) with honey or powdered sugar; cold cereal and bananas; oatmeal with frozen strawberries, honey and cinnamon
Weekly Lunches: Strawberry Preserves and Peanut Butter Wraps; Chicken Nuggets with fruit; Ham and Cheese Wraps with fruit

Monday: Easy Shrimp Scampi over Pasta with Steamed Broccoli for us and Green Beans for hubs
Tuesday: Pancakes and Sausage
Thursday: Spaghetti (using browned ground beef from OAMC) with roasted broccoli (from the frozen packages) with Lemon Pepper seasoning and French Bread
Friday: Chicken Enchilada Pizza with Salad - recipe to follow on Friday
Saturday: Lunch: Salsa Chicken Tostadas (using leftover pork); Supper: Autumn Glaze "dump" Chicken (in the Crock Pot) rice and veggies
This week at the grocery store I need to purchase:
- lettuce
- tomatoes
- cucumbers
- cilantro (I bought a little plant at Lowe's for $.50 but it's not ready for me to start harvesting from it yet.)
- avocados
- limes or lemons
- fresh fruit - whatever is on sale
