Menu Plan Monday 8/16/10

This week we're eating from the fridge.  We took a trip to the Dekalb Farmer's Market last week and got a few things.  I finally found a decent price on quinoa.  Currently at our Kroger, they sale a small box of quinoa for $5 or so.  I was able to get a large container at the market for $6.

Weekly breakfast:  Cheerios cereal with honey and bananas; apple cinnamon oatmeal with frozen blueberries; crunchy granola with yogurt and dried cranberries 

Weekly lunches:  eggs and fried potatoes; tuna sandwiches with chips; quinoa salad with fresh veggies (I'll share this recipe on Monday)

Weekly snacks:  mozzarella cheese cubes and pink lady apples;  graham crackers with nutella or peanut butter and apples;  berry banana smoothies

Monday:  Beef Roast (Crock Pot), gravy, mashed potatoes, pea and carrots

Tuesday:  Beef Roast REMAKE:  Shredded BBQ Beef Sandwiches, Spicy Sweet Potato Fries (but with chili powder and brown sugar) with Sauteed Green Beans

Wednesday:  Potato Hash with Eggs and Sausage, Rotel and Cheese

Thursday:  Beef Roast REMAKE:  Shredded Beef Tacos, Mexican Rice & Beans

Friday:  Pizza Pockets 

Saturday:  Family Dinner

Sunday:  Lunch:  Sandwiches;  Supper:  Pepperoni Pizza
