Meal Plan Monday 8/8/11


Here's the plan for the week:

Monday:   Grilled Teriyaki Chicken, Brown Rice, Steamed Broccoli, Peas and Carrots 

Tuesday:  Lentil Tacos

Wednesday:  Cereal with Bananas or Scrambled eggs and toast



Saturday:  out to eat or leftovers

Sunday:  Classic Sloppy Joes, Oven Cheese Fries, Green Beans

Breakfasts:
Egg White Omelet with cheese,  Oatmeal with peanut butter and frozen blueberries
Cottage Cheese, Mandarin oranges with chopped almonds, Banana Oat Muffins with peanut butter
Lunches:
Turkey Sandwiches with apples
Grilled Cheese with Roasted Tomato Soup 

Snacks:
Turkey Wrapped Cheese with apples
Cocoa Almonds with String Cheese and apple
Popcorn with almonds

Candi, I love it when we are on the same meal planning wave length. I'm planning to have sloppy joes and a pepperoni pasta this week! :) So cool! Let me know if you can think of any cake ideas for me. My birthday is Friday and I've got this idea to make three mini cakes for myself b/c I'm turning 33!

Love that crockpot chicken with potatoes, great idea!

I so wish I liked cottage cheese. It is SOOOO healthy and full of protein. Even if I sprinkle it with cinnamon, I cringe when I eat it. :-)

I love making pizzas from the really thin pita bread! throw tomato sauce on them, with low-fat motz. cheese and then LOAD them up with fresh spinach and black olives, bake at 350 until cheese melts and spinach wilts. YUM YUM YUM! and you can have 2 for less than 300 calories!

lentil tacos sound fun!! we did a whole chicken in the crockpot this week-awesome! crockpot is my bff:)
i know the week is almost over but it takes me a while to get through most of the menu plans:)
